Anurag Thakur Extends ‘Best Wishes’ to PM as He Faces Exclusion from ‘Modi 3.0’

Former Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Anurag Thakur, has expressed his “best wishes” to Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid reports of his potential removal from the Union Cabinet in the upcoming “Modi 3.0” reshuffle.

Thakur, who is widely seen as a close ally of the Prime Minister, took to social media to convey his support. “I extend my best wishes to Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji. May his leadership continue to inspire and guide our nation,” he tweeted.

The reports of Thakur’s exclusion from the Cabinet have not been officially confirmed, but sources suggest that he may be replaced by a younger and more experienced candidate. Thakur, 47, has held various positions in the government, including as the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

If the reports are accurate, Thakur’s removal would mark a significant change in the Prime Minister’s inner circle. He has been a key figure in the BJP and is considered to be close to Amit Shah, the Home Minister.

However, political analysts believe that the Cabinet reshuffle is aimed at bringing in fresh faces and rejuvenating the government. It is expected that several other ministers may also be replaced in the coming days.

Thakur’s “best wishes” to the Prime Minister indicate that he remains a loyal supporter of Modi and the BJP. Despite the potential setback, he appears to be ready to accept the party’s decision and continue to contribute in any capacity that is assigned to him.
