Hyderabad, Telangana – Eminent media baron and founder of the Eenadu Group, Ramoji Rao, was cremated with full state honors at a private ceremony attended by dignitaries, including former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu.

Naidu carried Rao’s remains on his shoulders, a gesture that reflected the deep respect he held for the media mogul. Rao, who passed away at the age of 88 on July 5, had established a vast media empire encompassing newspapers, television channels, and film production.

The cremation took place at the Ramoji Film City, a sprawling entertainment complex located near Hyderabad. Family members, friends, and colleagues gathered to pay their last respects to Rao, who was widely regarded as a pioneer in the Indian media industry.
