Chirag Paswan, Piyush Goyal Attend Pre-Oath Meeting with Narendra Modi

New Delhi, May 29: Ahead of the oath-taking ceremony scheduled for Thursday (May 30), several leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence on Wednesday evening.

Among those present were former Union Minister Chirag Paswan, who is the son of the late Ram Vilas Paswan, and Union Minister Piyush Goyal.

The meeting was attended by other senior NDA leaders, including Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, and Amit Shah.

The leaders discussed the upcoming oath ceremony, which will see Modi take the oath of office as Prime Minister for a second term.

The meeting also focused on the formation of the new government and the allocation of portfolios to the various ministers.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 7 pm on Thursday. President Ram Nath Kovind will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Modi and his Council of Ministers.

Sources said that the meeting was cordial and that all the leaders were in high spirits ahead of the swearing-in ceremony.

The NDA won a decisive victory in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, securing 353 seats in the 543-member Lower House of Parliament.
