Congress Couldn’t Touch 100 Mark Even After 10 Years: PM’s All-Out Attack

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress at a rally on Monday, accusing it of stagnation and failure to meet the aspirations of the people.

’10 Years of Failure’

Modi pointed to the Congress’s poor electoral performance in recent years, highlighting that it had failed to cross the 100-seat mark in the Lok Sabha even after a decade in opposition. He attributed this to the party’s lack of vision and leadership.

‘Weak and Visionless’

“The Congress has become a weak and visionless party. They have nothing to offer the nation except hollow promises and empty slogans,” Modi said. He accused the Congress of being out of touch with the concerns of the common people.

‘BJP’s Achievements’

In contrast, Modi highlighted the achievements of his BJP-led government over the past seven years. He spoke about initiatives such as the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme, the Ujjwala gas connection program for rural households, and the Swachh Bharat cleanliness campaign.

‘Clean and Corruption-Free Government’

Modi emphasized his government’s commitment to clean governance and combating corruption. He said that the BJP had eliminated middlemen and ensured that government schemes reached their intended beneficiaries.

‘Congress’s Bankruptcy’

Modi concluded his speech by mocking the Congress’s claim to be a national party. He said that the party had become confined to a few states and was bankrupt in terms of ideas and support.

‘People’s Verdict’

“The people of India have rejected the Congress and given the BJP a decisive mandate. This shows that the country wants development, not empty slogans,” Modi said.
