Even Curator is Confused’: Rohit Sharma Takes Dig at New York Pitch Ahead of IND vs PAK World Cup Clash

New York, August 23: Indian captain Rohit Sharma has taken a cheeky dig at the New York pitch ahead of Sunday’s highly anticipated World Cup clash against Pakistan.

Speaking to reporters after India’s practice session at the Citi Field, Sharma said, “I don’t know if the wicket has any grass or not. Even the curator is confused.”

The pitch at the Citi Field has been a topic of discussion in recent days, with some experts predicting a high-scoring encounter while others believe the spinners could come into play.

Sharma, however, remained non-committal about India’s team selection. “We’ll assess the conditions and pick the best XI tomorrow,” he said.

India and Pakistan will face off in their first World Cup match on Sunday, August 24, at the Citi Field in New York. The match is expected to attract a massive audience worldwide.
