In a shocking turn of events, Kangana Ranaut was allegedly slapped by a woman named Kulwinder Kaur at the Mumbai airport on Monday night. According to the FIR filed by Kangana’s team, the incident occurred around 11:30 pm as Kangana was coming out of the frisking booth.

“As I came out of the frisking booth at around 11:30 pm, a lady who was wearing a mask came up to me and introduced herself as Kulwinder Kaur,” Kangana’s manager, Tarun Ahuja, stated in the FIR. “She asked me why I made a film on Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmibai and then slapped me.”

Ahuja further claimed that Kaur was stopped by airport security after the incident. “The security personnel present at the airport immediately took Kulwinder Kaur into custody,” he said. “We have filed an FIR against her with the Mumbai Police.”

Notably, Kangana has been a vocal critic of the Maharashtra government and has often made controversial statements on various issues. The motive behind the alleged assault is still unclear, and the police are investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, Kangana took to social media to share her experience. “I was slapped at the Mumbai airport last night by a lady who was apparently a fan of Jhansi Ki Rani,” she wrote. “I am shocked and shaken. This is the price I pay for speaking my mind. I will not be silenced.”

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many netizens condemning the alleged attack on Kangana. However, some have also questioned the timing of the incident, given that it comes just days before the release of Kangana’s upcoming film, “Thalaivi.”
