EXCLUSIVE: Taran Adarsh feels Singham Again can be the BIGGEST Bollywood opener of 2024: “Rohit Shetty right now is a wounded lion. He’ll bounce back. Aur jab sher zakhmi hota hai, toh zyada khatarnaak hota hai”

Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, is one of the most awaited films of 2024. The film is the third installment in the Singham franchise, which has been a blockbuster hit at the box office.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh believes that Singham Again has the potential to be the biggest Bollywood opener of 2024. He says, “Rohit Shetty right now is a wounded lion. He’ll bounce back. Aur jab sher zakhmi hota hai, toh zyada khatarnaak hota hai (When a lion is wounded, it becomes more dangerous).”

Adarsh adds, “Singham Again has all the ingredients of a blockbuster – a massy hero, a popular franchise, and a director who knows how to entertain the audience. I wouldn’t be surprised if it opens to a record-breaking number.”

The first Singham film, released in 2011, was a massive hit at the box office, grossing over Rs 100 crore worldwide. The sequel, Singham Returns, released in 2014, was also a blockbuster, grossing over Rs 150 crore worldwide.

Singham Again is scheduled to release on Diwali 2024. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles.
