Farida Jalal’s Disappointment with Yash Chopra and Karan Johar Air Out

Veteran actress Farida Jalal has opened up about her past experiences with the late filmmaker Yash Chopra and director Karan Johar, expressing her hurt feelings.

Yash Chopra’s Actions

Jalal revealed that she was “deeply hurt” by Chopra’s actions on the set of their 1995 film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.” She claims that Chopra had verbally insulted her in front of the entire cast and crew.

“He said things that were very hurtful to me. I was deeply hurt,” Jalal said. “I felt so humiliated.”

Karan Johar’s Wrongdoings

Jalal also revealed that she had been mistreated by Johar in the past. She did not specify the nature of the incident, but stated that it had left a “deep wound” on her.

“I have always had a lot of respect for Karan. But I think he knows that he has wronged me in the past,” Jalal said. “He knows what he did.”

Hope for Reconciliation

Despite her past experiences, Jalal expressed her hope that she could reconcile with both Chopra and Johar.

“I have forgiven them, but I can’t forget what happened,” Jalal said. “I hope that one day we can all move on.”
