First Video of NDA Leaders’ Meeting at PM Narendra Modi’s Residence Ahead of Oath Ceremony

New Delhi: Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony for the second term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 30, a video emerged showing a meeting of key Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and allied leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at Modi’s residence in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The video, which was shared on social media by the BJP, shows Modi interacting with leaders such as former President Ram Nath Kovind, BJP chief J.P. Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and leaders from other parties like Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed various issues related to the upcoming oath ceremony and the formation of the new government. They also extended their congratulations to Modi on his re-election victory and pledged their support to his agenda of development and welfare.

The oath-taking ceremony will take place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday, May 30, at 7 pm. President Ram Nath Kovind will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Modi and his Council of Ministers.

The NDA, led by the BJP, won a landslide victory in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, securing 353 seats in the 543-member lower house of Parliament. The BJP itself won 303 seats, its highest tally ever.
