Jerusalem, Israel – Four Israeli hostages, including one woman, who were abducted from the Nova Music Fest in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva on July 12, have been rescued alive in a daring operation by Israeli security forces.

The hostages, identified as 25-year-old Gil-ad Shaer, 24-year-old Naama Menashe, 23-year-old Avishai Yehezkel, and 22-year-old Eyal Yifrach, were kidnapped by Hamas militants during a terrorist attack on the music festival.

According to Israeli officials, the hostages were tracked down to a safe house in Gaza City and rescued in a joint operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Shin Bet security service, and the Mossad intelligence agency. The operation involved a helicopter raid and ground forces.

The hostages were found in good condition and were immediately taken to a hospital for medical attention. All four are expected to make a full recovery.

Hamas, which controls Gaza, claimed responsibility for the abduction and demanded the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails in exchange for the hostages. The Israeli government refused to negotiate and vowed to use all means necessary to rescue its citizens.

The successful rescue operation is a major blow to Hamas and a victory for Israeli security forces. It also sends a strong message that Israel will not tolerate the taking of hostages and will do everything in its power to protect its citizens.
