Kangana Ranaut: Film Industry Work Easier Than Politics

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut believes that working in the film industry is easier compared to the complexities of politics.

In an interview, Ranaut, who has been vocal about her political views, said, “This (politics) is a harsh life. I think being in a film is easier, being a star is easier than this.”

Ranaut, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2020, has often faced criticism for her political stance. However, she maintained her beliefs during the interview.

“I’m not going to join (another party) or go back (to the film industry) because I think this is my destiny,” she added.

Ranaut emphasized the challenges she faced in the political arena, including the constant scrutiny and pressure from opponents. She said that politics requires “a lot of compromises” and compromises are “not my nature.”

The actress also mentioned that she admires Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his determination and leadership. She believes that Modi has brought a sense of confidence and pride to the country.

Ranaut’s comments highlight the difference in the nature of work and challenges encountered in the film industry and politics.
