Actors Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, and Shekhar Suman have expressed their disappointment over the recent incident involving actress Kangana Ranaut slapping a person in Mumbai.

On Wednesday, Ranaut was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with a man at her Pali Hill residence. According to reports, she slapped him in the face during an argument.

Shabana Azmi: “I have always admired Kangana Ranaut’s talent and fearlessness. However, I am deeply distressed by the news of the alleged assault. It is never right to resort to violence, regardless of the circumstances. I sincerely hope that this incident will be thoroughly investigated and appropriate action will be taken.”

Anupam Kher: “Mujhe bara afsos hua (I am deeply sorry) that such an incident has occurred. I know Kangana personally and I have always respected her for her work. But violence is never an acceptable solution. We all need to learn to resolve our differences peacefully.”

Shekhar Suman: “This is a sad day for our industry. Violence has no place in a civilized society. I urge Kangana to apologize and make amends for her actions. We need to stand together to create a positive and respectful environment in the entertainment industry.”

Kangana Ranaut’s Son, Adhyayan: Responding to the incident, Ranaut’s son, Adhyayan, wrote on Instagram: “I hope this incident will be a wake-up call for Kangana. It’s time to take responsibility for your actions and stop blaming others. I love you, but this is not acceptable behavior.”

The incident has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many people condemning Ranaut’s actions. Mumbai Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
