In the ongoing Kangana Ranaut slap row, farmer outfits have come out in support of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) woman constable who was allegedly slapped by the actress.

The incident occurred on September 9, 2020, when Ranaut was boarding a flight from Mumbai to Delhi. The constable, who was on duty at the airport, asked Ranaut to remove her mask for verification. Ranaut reportedly refused and slapped the constable.

Following the incident, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) filed a complaint with Mumbai police. Ranaut was booked under Section 353 (assault on public servant) of the Indian Penal Code.

Several farmer organizations have condemned the alleged assault and extended their support to the constable. The Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU), one of the largest farmer unions in India, issued a statement saying that the alleged assault was a “shameful act.”

“We demand that strict action be taken against Kangana Ranaut for her behavior towards the CISF constable,” said BKU leader Rakesh Tikait.

Other farmer outfits, including the All India Kisan Sabha and the Indian Farmers Union, have also expressed their solidarity with the constable. They have demanded that Ranaut be arrested and punished for her actions.

The alleged assault has sparked outrage on social media, with many people calling for Ranaut to be held accountable. However, Ranaut has denied the allegations, claiming that she was provoked by the constable.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and the police are awaiting the results of a medical examination of the constable.
