Kylian Mbappé Suffers Broken Nose in France’s Euros Debut

Paris, France (June 15, 2023): France’s star forward Kylian Mbappé suffered a broken nose during his team’s opening match of the Euro 2023 tournament against Germany. The injury occurred in the first half of the match, after a collision with German defender Antonio Rüdiger.

Mbappé remained on the field for a short while after the incident but eventually had to be substituted. He was visibly in pain and was seen holding his nose after the collision.

France went on to win the match 2-1, with Mbappé providing the assist for the winning goal. However, the injury casts doubt over his availability for the team’s remaining matches in the tournament.

French coach Didier Deschamps has not yet confirmed the severity of the injury or the length of Mbappé’s potential absence. However, it is believed that the forward will need surgery to repair his broken nose.

This injury is a major blow for France as Mbappé is considered one of the best players in the world and a key player for the French national team. The team will be hoping he recovers quickly and is able to return to action in the tournament.
