Modi 3.0 Cabinet: Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari to be included

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remodelled cabinet is likely to include Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and present Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, among several others, reports said on Tuesday.

The new team of ministers will be sworn in today at 6 pm at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The swearing-in ceremony will be attended by President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The new cabinet is expected to be a mix of old and new faces. Some of the current ministers who are likely to be retained include Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Narendra Singh Tomar, Smriti Irani, and Piyush Goyal.

Among the new faces, Mansukh Mandaviya is likely to be given a cabinet berth. He is currently the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. Other likely candidates for ministerial berths include Jyotiraditya Scindia, Bhupender Yadav, and Anurag Thakur.

The new cabinet is expected to focus on key areas such as the economy, infrastructure, and healthcare. It is also expected to address the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
