Despite the disappointing box office performance of Aamir Khan’s “Laal Singh Chaddha,” actress Mona Singh has expressed gratitude for the positive reception she has received for her role in the film.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Singh acknowledged that the movie did not achieve its expected financial success. However, she believes that her performance in the film has opened doors to new opportunities for her.

“The movie didn’t get great box office numbers,” she said. “But I got great shows because of it. I’m thankful for that. I got to play a very different role, and people appreciated it.”

Singh played the role of Rupa Kaur, the love interest of Aamir Khan’s character, Laal Singh Chaddha. Her performance was praised for its sensitivity and depth.

The actress went on to explain that she was initially hesitant to take on the role, but was ultimately convinced by Aamir Khan. “I was a little scared at first,” she said. “I didn’t know if I could do justice to the character. But Aamir believed in me, and I’m so glad I did it.”

Despite the film’s box office failure, Singh remains optimistic about her future in the industry. “I’m not disappointed at all,” she said. “I’m just grateful for the opportunity to have worked on such a special film.”
