NTA Chief Denies NEET ‘Paper Leak’, Says 4 Keywords Cracked
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has strongly refuted allegations of a paper leak in the recently conducted National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical admissions. NTA Director General Vineet Joshi asserted that the examination was conducted fairly and there was no evidence to support claims of a paper leak.
“We have analyzed the data and compared the question papers used in different shifts. There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest any paper leak,” Joshi said.
NTA officials highlighted that four keywords that were accidentally released as part of the question paper have been cracked by the agency and no sensitive information was breached. The four keywords were “auxin,” “zymogen,” “diastema,” and “recipient.”
“We deeply regret the accidental release of these keywords, but it is important to note that they were not part of the actual question paper. The actual questions asked in the examination were not compromised in any way,” Joshi said.
The NTA has urged candidates not to be swayed by rumors and to rely only on official sources for information. The agency has also reassured that it has robust mechanisms in place to prevent paper leaks and will take strict action against anyone involved in such activities.
