Oppn bloc must work cohesively inside and outside House: Mallikarjun Kharge

New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, has emphasized the importance of cohesive action among opposition parties both inside and outside Parliament.

Speaking at a press conference, Kharge said, “The opposition bloc must work cohesively inside and outside the House to effectively challenge the government and raise issues of public concern.”

He pointed out that the upcoming Budget Session of Parliament provides a crucial opportunity for the opposition to hold the government accountable and present alternative policies.

“We need to have a clear strategy and coordinate our efforts both during debates and in public protests,” Kharge said. “Only by working together can we make our voices heard and bring about positive change.”

Kharge also stressed the need for opposition parties to engage with the public and mobilize support for their causes.

“The people of India are facing severe economic hardship, unemployment, and social injustice. We must stand with them and amplify their concerns,” he said.

The opposition bloc has been facing challenges in maintaining unity in recent times, with some parties opting to support the government on certain issues. However, Kharge expressed confidence that the parties would overcome these differences.

“We may have our political differences, but we all share a common goal of safeguarding the interests of the nation and its people,” he said. “We are committed to working together to hold the government accountable and ensure a fair and just society.”
