PM Modi Pays Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat Ahead of Swearing

Ahead of taking the oath of office for a second time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, at Rajghat in New Delhi on Friday.

Accompanied by senior BJP leaders and family members, PM Modi offered floral tributes and prayers at Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. He stood in silent contemplation for several minutes, paying his respects to the great leader.

In an emotional moment, PM Modi said that it was a privilege to visit Rajghat on such an important day. “Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings and ideals continue to inspire us,” he stated.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of non-violence, communal harmony, and service to the nation, values that were central to Mahatma Gandhi’s life. He pledged to continue working towards fulfilling Bapu’s vision for India.

PM Modi’s visit to Rajghat is seen as a symbolic gesture that underscores his commitment to Gandhian principles and his determination to lead India on the path of progress and prosperity.
