PM Modi Resumes Work, Hosts Maldives President at Banquet

NEW DELHI, JULY 11, 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to work on Monday following his recent hospitalization. He hosted a banquet at the President’s House in honor of visiting Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

During the banquet, PM Modi and President Solih discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, including trade, investment, and security cooperation. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and global developments.

PM Modi expressed his appreciation for the close ties between India and the Maldives. He said that India is committed to strengthening these ties in all areas.
