Mumbai, India: A Mumbai doctor was left horrified after finding a human finger in his ice cream. Dr. Rajeshwari, a resident of Andheri and a general practitioner, had ordered a tub of ice cream from a local vendor. Upon taking a scoop, she was shocked to discover a finger embedded within the frozen treat.

“I thought it was a big nut at first,” Dr. Rajeshwari recounted, visibly shaken. “But then I saw it was a finger, and I just screamed.” She immediately contacted the police and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), sparking an investigation into the food safety standards of the vendor.

The police, led by Inspector Sanjay Patil of Andheri Police Station, are currently investigating the incident. The finger has been sent for forensic analysis to determine its origin and identify any potential victims.

The incident has left the city in shock and has sparked widespread concerns about food safety and hygiene standards in the local food industry. The vendor has been ordered to shut down operations until the investigation is complete.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of food safety regulations and the need for vigilant inspection to ensure that consumers are not exposed to such horrific and potentially harmful situations.
