Three MPs from Andhra Pradesh Take Oath as Union Ministers

New Delhi, July 7, 2021: Three Members of Parliament (MPs) from Andhra Pradesh were sworn in as Union Ministers in the Narendra Modi-led government today.

Kishan Reddy: Re-elected from Secunderabad constituency, Kishan Reddy has been given the portfolio of Minister of Tourism, Culture and Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
M. Venkaiah Naidu: Son of former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, M. Venkaiah Naidu has been appointed as Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways. He was elected from the Guntur constituency.
Panchajanya Sai Simhadri: From Visakhapatnam constituency, Panchajanya Sai Simhadri has been sworn in as Minister of State for Commerce and Industry.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other senior officials.

The induction of these three MPs into the Union Cabinet aims to address the concerns of Andhra Pradesh and ensure its representation in the central government. The ministers are expected to work on issues related to infrastructure, tourism, trade, and economic development in the state.
